Lip Bumper

Your new lip bumper is a simple, little appliance which can do wonderful things, if worn properly. It can make treatment faster, eliminate the need for permanent tooth extractions, and produce fuller smiles. However, your lip bumper must be worn 24 hours a day to provide these results. Here are some simple instructions for your lip bumper.

• 24 hour per day is essential.
  
  
• When your lip bumper is new, sore spots may develop on the inside of your cheeks. Rinse with warm salt water or hydrogen peroxide and place wax on the bands for comfort. The tissue will toughen up, but if the sores persist longer than 7 days, please call for an appointment.
  
  
• If your lip bumper is lost or damaged beyond repair, the replacement cost is $70.00.
